The aircraft was built by North American Aviation
Diverted from the US to the RAF with tail number EZ310
Delivered to the SAAF with serial 7625.
To United Kingdom in October 1946 and then to the Belgian Air Force with the tail number H-15.
The trainer returned to the SAAF on the 7th of January 1961 and was allocated a tail number 7729
Displayed at the Military Museum at Fort Klapperkop from the 13th of September 1967.
The aircraft was sold to the SAA Apprentice Training School and first registered ZS-WLT.
Rebuilt by the school to airworthy standard and registered ZS-WLR on the 18th of September 1995.
The aircraft provides hands on training for live aircraft operations.
The aircraft is flown at air shows and aviation functions.
